How to DIY Retrofit LED Tube Lights
Please identify whether your fixture uses a magnetic or electronic ballast before retrofitting. Check our guide on how to tell what kind of ballast you have.
- For magnetic ballast lights:
- Replace the old starter with the new LED starter provided.
- Replace the fluorescent tube light with the new LED tube light.
- For electronic ballast lights:
- Bypass or remove the electronic ballast (requires rewiring).
- Install the new LED tube light after rewiring is complete.
